JUDY MARIN
Speech Pathologist.
B.App.Sc. (Sp Path), MSPAA, CPSP, MAVA.
Judy has been a Speech Pathologist for more than thirty years and continues to be passionate about her work with clients and families. She engages in regular professional development to ensure that her practice delivers the latest in evidence-based assessments and intervention. Judy has been in private practice in Albany Creek for over twenty-five years. Prior to private practice, Judy worked in community health, hospital, nursing home and school settings. She enjoys a general Speech Pathology caseload, working adults with voice disorders and with children with a variety of communication difficulties. She works in partnership with clients and families to ensure that therapy is appropriate to their needs. Judy loves early intervention and believes client knowledge is empowering. She encourages people to seek our professional advice early, rather than taking a 'wait and see' approach. Judy has been engaged as a Professional Practice Educator with the Australian Catholic University’s Speech Pathology program. She loves sharing her experience, passion and expertise with the next generation of Speech Pathologists.
MONICA
GEHRKE

Monica loves being a Speech Pathologist. This is evident in her warm, effective and fun way of engaging with children and their families. She has worked for more than eight years in clinic and school settings across the Sunshine Coast, Gympie and Brisbane before joining Judy Marin Speech Pathology in 2026. Monica is highly experienced in assessing children's communication abilities and enjoys helping children’s confidence grow as she works to improve their speech and language skills. Having worked in schools, Monica is also passionate about providing children with the skills they need to learn and loves helping children learn to read. She enjoys working closely with families to deliver evidence based, individualised Speech Pathology and is a most welcome addition the team.

Josh has been working at Judy Marin Speech Pathology since 2023. He has experience providing a range of Speech Pathology services including assessments and evidence based therapies tailored to help improved children's communication, literacy and learning. Josh engages easily with children and their families to create a happy and successful learning environment. He delivers evidenced-based assessments and therapy, individualised to each client, to help them achieve their goals. His warmth and humour shines through. He is passionate about empowering families and children to help clients reach their full potential.
JANE KWAN
Speech Pathologist.
B.Sp.Path., MSPAA, CPSP.
Jane has worked with Judy Marin Speech Pathology for over ten years, providing general Speech Pathology services to children of all ages. She is currently contracted to provide Speech Pathology for school aged children in our clinic at Albany Place. Jane has a wealth of experience working in educational settings. She has a broad interest in supporting children with communication challenges including written communication. She uses the latest in evidenced-based practice to help children with literacy and learning needs, as well as children who are stuttering and having challenges speech sound difficulties. With her gentle nature, Jane works with families to support their children to become better communicators and learners.
